JOB SUMMARY :Prepare timely and accurate reporting of financial statements.Oversee payroll process.Prepare and analyze physician compensation models monthly and have reconciliation meetings.Review all invoices for proper coding and approval before being paid.Prepare and work with external auditors including annual benefit plan audit.Development of the annual budget.Prepare all annual and quarterly tax filings.Establish and monitor internal controls.Assist Director of Accounting and other associates with key aspects of accounting and Other financial data analysis.Primarily responsible for Action OI data and reports.Supervises accounting personnel and sets standards of performance.QUALIFICATIONS :
JOB SPECIFIC CORE COMPETENCIES:
Reviews financials and analyzes expenditures for current period.Ability to develop department budget.Establishes and/or tracks LEM goals for department progress.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Previous professional accounting experience with in-charge duties.Four-year accredited College graduate with Active Professional License (CPA) or equivalent.One to four years' experience or training in computer operations with the demonstrated ability to use an electronic spreadsheet as well as a word processor.Numerical ability to calculate and compile statistics.Demonstrated ability to work with budgets and analyze variances.EXPECTED BEHAVIORS :
Evidence of good grooming and professional conduct.Excellent communications skills.Demonstrate ability to perform calculations quickly and accurately.Possess a sense of responsibility, initiative, honesty and confidentiality.Desire and ability to cooperate with others.Able to work under stress and to meet deadlines.Superior ability to work with numbers and computers in day to day work.Position Requirements
CERTIFICATION/LICENSE : CPA/Certified Public Account active license highly desirable
ADDITIONAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS :
BS in Accounting from an accredited College or University.Mandatory Annual Education: Confidentiality and HIPAA, Corporate Compliance, Fall Prevention, PPD Campaign, Quality Assessment, Performance Improvement, Safety & Security, Chest Pain.
