About the role:
The Web Developer is responsible the development, optimization, and maintenance of McCrometer's corporate websites, including maintaining site hosting, leveraging new web technologies to deliver a scalable user experiences, migrating resources between the corporate website and our product information management system, and overseeing technical and administrative support for web properties, and exploring e-commerce solutions for future projects.
This position is part of the Marketing & Service Department located in Hemet, California and will be Hybrid (3 days on-site).
In this role, you will: Manage and maintain McCrometer's corporate websites and microsites within a CMS environment, with preferred knowledge on best practices with industry-standard platforms. Develop and optimizes front-end components using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, ensuring compatibility across devices and optimal technical performance across browsers & systems. Troubleshoot website issues and provides regular maintenance, ensuring consistent uptime and user experiences. Manage Git/BitBucket repositories for version control and collaborates with other teams in an Agile environment; Works in Visual Studio for advanced coding and debugging tasks. Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Product teams to implement new, updated, expiring assets in our Product Information Management (PIM) system for efficient product data management. Ensures the website meets the highest security and accessibility standards, focusing on data privacy, GDPR compliance, ADA accessibility, WCAG 2.0 guidelines, and PCI-DSS standards. Provide recommendations for UX/UI improvements, website speed optimizations, and new content. Assist in leading the design and development of web enhancements to support new campaigns, initiatives, and the integration of new technologies. Are you qualified?
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). 3-5 years of experience in web development with a focus on CMS platforms (WordPress, Contentful, etc.) Knowledge of HTML, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL highly preferred. Experience with WooCommerce, Magento, NetSuite, or similar e-commerce/PIM platforms preferred. Experience with WordPress page builders (Elementor) and Microsoft Visual Studio a plus.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate's position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
The compensation range for this role is $70,000 - $90,000 USD per year.
