Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive cost analysis to identify opportunities for cost reductions and process improvements.
- Prepare detailed reports on labor, materials, overhead, and operational costs, and provide insights on cost drivers and potential areas for improvement.
- Perform variance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting to support strategic decision-making.
- Manage cost allocation processes and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and production teams to understand cost drivers and develop strategies for cost control and efficiency improvement.
- Use advanced Excel, ERP systems, and financial analysis software to automate and improve cost analysis processes.
- Maintain inventory control and accuracy, and work closely with the inventory management team to optimize inventory levels and reduce costs.
- Develop and implement cost improvement initiatives, and monitor their effectiveness.
- Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement process improvements and efficiency initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Financial Analyst or Cost Analyst in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Proficient in cost accounting and financial analysis, with a deep understanding of labor costs, materials costs, overhead costs, and operational costs.
- Strong experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cost allocation.
- Solid experience with inventory management, inventory control, and inventory accuracy.
- Proven track record of implementing process improvements and efficiency initiatives.
- Proficient in advanced Excel, ERP systems, and financial analysis software.
- Strong analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to identify cost drivers and potential areas for improvement.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with teams across the organization.
- Passion for cost reduction and process improvement, with a proactive approach to identifying and implementing cost improvement initiatives.
