JOB SUMMARY:

The Grizzly Staff Accountant reports to the Grizzly Business Unit Controller and supports Grizzly staff with accounting and finance needs. Additionally, the Grizzly Staff Accountant provides added support to the BNBuilders Controllers group.

SALARY RANGE:

$75,000.00 - $95,000.00 annually (companywide)

It's 100% company-funded and is invested in BNBuilders stock. You can participate in this long-term plan after you complete 1 year of service (with at least 1,000 hours). JOB RESPONSIBILITES:

Perform various reconciliations for Accounts Receivable, inventory, prepaids and other general ledger accounts. Perform weekly billing process. Perform monthly substantiation reporting process. Perform ad-hoc reporting to support Grizzly operations. Set up and maintain customer job records. Reconcile, process, and report monthly/quarterly/annual sales and business taxes. Maintain accurate addition/disposal records of capitalized assets/liabilities and related depreciation/amortization, including calculating and posting any gains/losses upon disposal. Assist BNB Accounts Payable in timely vendor payment and dispute resolution Compile periodic reports for numerous business units throughout Grizzly and BNB. Assist Grizzly and BNB Controllers with monthly/quarterly/annual reporting and forecasting. Assist with timely compilation of audit and tax related documents as needed. QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. One or more years of Accounting experience. Inventory or Construction industry experience is a plus. An understanding of US GAAP. CPA or CMA certification a plus Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. General knowledge of Power BI. ERP systems experience a plus. An understanding that producing deliverables that are accurate, professional in appearance, and timely is critical for success. An ability to work with and solicit cooperation from individuals in a variety of roles. Strong project management, planning, and organization skills, which includes simultaneously handling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. A respect for confidential data and an ability to maintain that confidentiality. A sense of confidence in oneself, curiosity to learn and grow your understanding of our industry, and the willingness to advocate for improvements.
