Product Quoting Specialist
for a 6+ month contract.
Position Overview:
As a Product Quoting Specialist, you will play a critical role in helping our manufacturing clients convert customized product requests into compelling solutions. Your technical expertise and attention to detail will drive the creation of accurate, efficient, and competitive quotes. You'll collaborate closely with internal teams and leverage your problem-solving skills to meet customer requirements, win bids, and support sales efforts.
Key Responsibilities:Prepare formal quote specifications (product description, pricing, etc.) to assist the sales team in influencing customers to purchase client products.Review engineering drawings and floor plans to determine feasibility, specifications, and pricing for customized products.Ensure that all applicable standards and protocols governing the design/engineering process are applied and adhered to.Collaborate with internal teams to improve efficiency, accuracy, and quality in the quoting process.Work on multiple assignments simultaneously while effectively managing time and priorities.Communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.Ensure quality in all deliverables by following applicable quality systems and procedures.Continuously improve personal skills and demonstrate digital dexterity by embracing new and emerging technologies.Job Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Technical proficiency with the ability to read basic dimensions on engineering drawings and floor plans.Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills using a variety of methods to address technical issues.Excellent computer skills and experience using various software applications.Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment and communicate technical information to all levels of the organization.Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results.Proven ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize multiple tasks.Strong business acumen with a focus on achieving business outcomes and maximizing results.
