Role Objectives:
The IT Help Desk Officer will provide first and second tier contact and problem resolution for all users with hardware, software, and applications problems. They will assist with the setup and configuration of new hardware, repair and troubleshooting of existing hardware issues and to be able to do hard drive replacements.
Qualifications:
•1+ years of experience in a similar role or relevant training
•Relevant IT qualification and/or certification
•Excellent technical skills with an emphasis on:
o Windows desktop operating system
o Mac OS
•Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
•Strong understanding of existing network programs and capabilities
•Must be organized
•Must be detail-oriented
Responsibilities:
•Provide first and second tier contact and problem resolution for all users with hardware, software, and applications problems.
•Administration and use of desktop hardware, software, printers, and other peripherals.
•Troubleshooting and assistance on all types of mobile devices.
•Configuration of new hardware for users.
•Re-image/clean-up of existing hardware.
•Updating existing hardware with new components such as hard drives, memory, etc.
•Other duties to be assigned.
Possible responsibilities include:
•Using knowledge of Active Directory and Exchange, set up new users, permissions, groups, email accounts etc.

Work Hours
7:00am - 3:30pm, Monday to Thursday
7:00am - 3:00pm, Friday
30-minute unpaid lunch break each day.
Plus, reasonable additional hours due to multiple time-zones.
This is an onsite position.
Salary Band
USD $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Physical Demands
•While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone and other office productivity machinery, may need to reach, stoop, kneel to access items
•Must be able to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time
•Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work
•Light to moderate lifting is required
•Frequently communicates with other employees and third-parties, must be able to speak clearly and exchange accurate information.
•Regular, predictable attendance is required
