NoneRole Objectives:The IT Help Desk Officer will provide first and second tier contact and problem resolution for all users with hardware, software, and applications problems. They will assist with the setup and configuration of new hardware, repair and troubleshooting of existing hardware issues and to be able to do hard drive replacements.Qualifications:1+ years of experience in a similar role or relevant trainingRelevant IT qualification and/or certificationExcellent technical skills with an emphasis on Mac OSProficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related softwareStrong understanding of existing network programs and capabilitiesMust be organized and detail-orientedResponsibilities:Provide first and second tier contact and problem resolution for all users with hardware, software, and applications problems.Administration and use of desktop hardware, software, printers, and other peripherals.Troubleshooting and assistance on all types of mobile devices.Configuration of new hardware for users.Re-image/clean-up of existing hardware.Updating existing hardware with new components such as hard drives, memory, etc.Other duties to be assigned.Possible responsibilities include:Using knowledge of Active Directory and Exchange, set up new users, permissions, groups, email accounts, etc.This position description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the role. USD $25.00 - $30.00 per hourPhysical Demands:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone and other office productivity machinery, may need to reach, stoop, kneel to access items.Must be able to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.Light to moderate lifting is required.Frequently communicates with other employees and third-parties, must be able to speak clearly and exchange accurate information.Regular, predictable attendance is required.The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
