He/she will develop year-round marketing plans, including branding, performance marketing campaigns, industry activations, communications and other strategic initiatives. Through this work, the goal is to increase drive awareness of gaming on Samsung TVs through consumer acquisition, engagement, and retention goals of each product.He/she will be responsible for driving a full end-to-end marketing strategy, responsible for both top-of-the-funnel/brand metric improvements and low-funnel/growth performance. Working closely with the Product team, he/she will understand customer needs and effectively communicate the value and benefits of gaming, critical to driving sales and enhancing market positioning.In addition, he/she will work with Partner Marketing to fuel the Samsung TV Ecosystem through gaming partnerships. Through this focus, this leader will develop partner marketing programs to boost awareness, credibility and performance across Samsung’s ecosystem.The ideal candidate will have strong experience with consumer and product marketing, proven ability to use product adoption and positioning to help generate demand. Prior experience and deep knowledge of gaming is required. The role demands a mix of game industry knowledge, developer relations and product growth marketing experience.Samsung Gaming is in an exciting period of growth and development and seeks an experienced marketer who will drive sustained engagement and growth for our gaming apps and services. This leadership role will collaborate closely with leads across Product, Marketing, Communications & Events, and our partners on the Hardware teams and HQ. This position will report directly to the Head of VD Marketing and will be based in the NYC office with domestic travel.ResponsibilitiesLead and execute go-to-market plans for new product and feature launches, including positioning, messaging, and promotional strategies to maximize impact and adoption.Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention of Gaming on Samsung TVs.Analyze gaming market trends, gamer behavior, and competitor activities to inform marketing strategies to inform the value proposition development of new products and features.Oversee strategy and execution of lifecycle comms, social media content, partner programs, industry events, and other marketing initiatives on and off-platform to achieve our business goals.Collaborate with priority gaming partners and publishers to define a content marketing calendar, align marketing plans, and support their biggest titles and offers on our platforms.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Business Development, Creative Studio, Communications & Event Management to ensure successful launches with a clear and cohesive marketing plan.Determine key metrics to track and measure the success of product marketing initiatives and provide actionable insights and recommendations for optimization.Skills and Qualifications13+ years of experience with product marketing, consumer products and/or brand management, with brands and at companies with global scale. Prior gaming marketing experience is required.Deep experience leading campaign development from briefing to integrated execution, including online video, digital and mobile ads, paid acquisition, social media, website landing pages, comms initiatives and event activations.Ability to apply analytics rigor to measure, analyze, and report the impact of marketing initiatives, including brand lift, user acquisition, and retention/engagement.Experience partnering closely with Product, UX, and Research teams to understand the needs of a target segment and develop product marketing plans to meet those needs.Excellent communicator, able to clearly articulate strategic plans, provide timely updates to execs, and ensure alignment with cross-functional stakeholders.Comfortable operating in a dynamic environment where teams may need to rapidly evolve plans as business priorities change.Organized, detail-oriented, and focused on driving measurable business impact.Experience partnering with external companies (partners, agencies, vendors, retailers) and influencing/managing up to executive, VP and cross-functional leadership.The salary range for this role is expected to be between $200,000 and $250,000. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
