If this statement resonates with you, don't be so hard on yourself-apply for the job!Stormwater/Water Resources Project ManagerWe are looking for a Stormwater Project Manager with experience successfully delivering a broad range of stormwater projects to support design of Transportation Projects in our Denver office. Responsibilities will include the design and analysis of open and closed storm drainage systems for transportation projects including hydrology and hydraulic analysis related to culverts sizing, open channel design, bridge hydraulics, scour analysis, storm sewer infrastructure design, and floodplain analysis. In this role you will contribute to a collaborative team environment. The desired candidate will supplement the design efforts of the civil/transportation and structural design group.LocationThis position will have a hybrid work schedule and, when in the office, will work from our Denver, CO office.The Impact You Will HavePerform hydraulic and hydrology (H&H) analyses and design for transportation projectsPrepare drainage reports in conformance with client and industry standardsAssist with plan production related to drainage design, stormwater management and detention facilities, water quality/MS4, quantities and specificationsContribute to project goals and milestones, coordinate resources, and monitor project progressOversee and assist in preparation of hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, studies, reports, construction drawings/plans, specifications, and cost estimates for a wide variety of stormwater design and planning projectsAdhere to all internal procedures for quality control, documentation, and project tracking to ensure the development of high-quality engineering documentsChampion relationships with key clients in the Denver metro area and throughout ColoradoContribute to other project work as a technical specialist or advisor as neededMarket potential clients in coordination with Division and Group leadershipProvide input into the growth of the practiceActively participate in the marketing process including proposal writingLead strategic project pursuits for drainage projectsDevelop and manage scopes, schedules and staff hours for drainage related tasks and projectsContribute to Colorado Division strategic growth initiatives

What You Will Need

Bachelor ofScience in Civil Engineeringor related discipline required10+ yearsoftransportation drainage experience preferredColorado Professional Engineering (PE) License required (or obtain within 6 months of employment)A history of progressive responsibility in transportation/roadway drainage design including:History of successfully managing projects, teams and delivering projectsExperience with design and plan production coordination related to transportation and standalone drainage projectsExcellent communication skills, verbal and writtenTrack-record for adhering to design budgets and schedules through the effective utilization of technical drainage staffStrong analytical, reasoning, problem solving, and decision-making abilityAbility to utilize accounting and scheduling software for project managementAbility to work effectively in a team environmentAbility to prioritize, manage, and advance multiple projects simultaneouslyThorough understanding of state, federal and regional design and regulatory standardsExperience developing deliverables per CDOT standards and requirements (preferred)Established relationships with Colorado Front Range clients (preferred)Experience with developing detailed floodplain studies and floodplain permitting for no-rise certifications (preferred)Solid understanding of FEMA technical requirements for CLOMR and LOMR submittals (preferred)Eagerness to mentor and train others

#LI-OS1The expected compensation range for this position is displayed in accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. The final agreed-upon compensation is based on numerous factors, including but not limited to individual education, qualifications, prior work experience, and geographic location. The total annual compensation package will consist of a base salary, overtime, and bonuses.Benefits:Our benefits package is designed to take care of our employees.
