What you will do:
Gather and collate competitive information to drive insightsAnticipate the needs of customers and patients and create a superior value propositionObtain insights by leveraging key opinion leaders and 3rd party companiesUnderstand customers and optimize value propositionAnalyze the validity and reliability of market research results. Understand statistical significance and basic hypothesis testing.Effectively use and interpret qualitative and quantitative researchUtilize market research and third-party data to identify key industry trendsCollaborate cross-departmentally to lead the new product development (NPDP) processUnderstand new product development process and its effect on the businessBuild financial business case model to support new product development funding and product return on investmentResponsible for delivering the business objective, marketing objective and leading the discovery process for the pre-commercialization planLeverage core competencies and the strategic assets of the organization to maximize new product development and launch planningPartner with Clinical Affairs to propose research objectives for evidence generation (Clinical studies, research papers, etc.)Partner with Product Marketing to develop a publication and messaging strategy that aligns with clinical evidenceUnderstand the costs of acquiring new customers vs. retaining current customersUnderstand how to target customers based off of total market potential and opportunityUnderstand potential sources of new volume within current customer segment or outside of the current segment and the financial tradeoffs for pursuing eachLead the development of integrations with third parties to enhance NPD projects and productsUnderstand and predict market trendsResearch key factors, measurements and variables used in forecastingExecute a product lifecycle management (PLCM) plan as it relates to the overall business and launch strategyDevelop contingency plans in the event of a supply chain interruptionCreate and communicate a value propositionDevelop pricing consistent with the Marketing Strategy and brand positioningDevelop new marketing channels and toolsDefine performance criteria used for evaluating business trends and activities
Minimum Qualifications (Required):
Bachelor’s degree required6+ years of work experience required
Preferred Qualifications (Strongly desired):
MBA preferred3+ years medical device or marketing experience preferredExcellent presentation and interpersonal communications skills*$ 126,500

salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.*
