Zonda is looking for a passionate Senior Vice President (SVP), Finance to help create, evolve and expand our team. Zonda looks for people who can grow, think, dream, and create. The SVP, Finance plays an important role in overseeing the financial and accounting operations of the organization. This role is critical for ensuring the financial health of the company, providing strategic financial guidance to support growth and ensuring compliance with financial reporting requirements.

What You’ll Do:

Financial Leadership:

Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company’s long-term goals.

Collaborate with other departments to support business goals and optimize financial performance.

Lead annual budgeting and long-term planning process.

Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances and opportunities for improvement.

Oversee cash flow management and ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs.

Work with executives to evaluate and execute investment opportunities and capital expenditures.

Partner with the CFO to present financial information to internal and external stakeholders, including the Board of Directors, Banks and Investors.

Build and maintain strong relationships with investors and analysts.

Oversee preparation and delivery of key reporting including but not limited to board reporting, bank package/covenant calculations, management discussion and analysis, departmental budget to actual reporting, commissions, capital expenditures, rosters, revenue KPI’s and other recurring management reporting.

Strategic Initiatives:

Lead M&A integration efforts of the finance and accounting function to onboard newly acquired companies into standardized accounting processes, including proforma reporting, synergies and other metrics.

Continue to lead the ERP migration project that is currently in process.

Implement roadmap for constant improvement in ERP processes and rollout with an eye towards automation and machine learning.

Continuously review and recommend improvements to financial processes, ensuring efficiency and compliance.

Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.

Team Leadership:

Develop and mentor the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

Ensure team is equipped with the necessary tools and resources to perform their duties effectively.

Oversee accounting operations (accounts payable, accounts receivable, collections) and finance teams.

Set performance goals and conduct regular performance evaluations.

Ensure team delivers an error-free, high-quality reporting that is easy for end user to grasp the main point.

Who You Are:

Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

Master’s degree (MBA) or professional certification (CPA) is highly preferred.

Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership position.

Experience in a private, medium sized organization.

Exposure to private equity preferred.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to take large amounts of data and present it in an easy to follow, digestible format.

Dynamic leader that can lead and grow a diverse team.

Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

Proficiency in learning and implementing financial software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems (NetSuite preferred) and financial reporting systems (Vena preferred).

International experience preferred (UK, Canada, India and Costa Rica).

In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
