Core One is seeking a
Planning/Experimentation Database Management Analyst
professional to support the program.
This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance . This position is contingent upon contract award.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Utilize automation systems to organize, store and present usable data to support EXFOR operationsInput USSOCOM activities into various databases (SOF Enterprise, Joint Staff (JS), and Military Services)Provide support to:
Back-up and restore data to prevent data loss o Identify user needs to create and administer databases o Ensure databases operate efficiently and without errorConduct performance tuning/debugging to ensure databases work o Make and test modifications/upgrades to databases structure when neededMaintain databases and update permissions o Merge old databases into new onesPresent data in different formats to ensure audiences understanding
Support information exchange and distribution to the SOF Enterprise, JS, Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) and Military ServicesDevelop and implement a knowledge management tool that facilitates the sharing of information across the SOF EnterpriseProvide technical and administrative support for experimentation meetings and events as required.Provide administrative support including:
Manage calendars, including organize and plan daily schedulesSetup team meetings, schedule conference rooms and prep sessions when necessaryAttend meetings to take comprehensive notes or to present informationPrint documents / read-aheads, including prepare and compile presentation slidesReview E-mails for priority information and meeting requestsTroubleshoot schedules as neededStay updated on priorities on a daily basis o Coordinate travel and create itineraries
Prepare briefs, information papers, and presentationsTravel up to 25% of the time on a monthly basisAssist users with inputting, locating, and retrieving dataPrepare reports, information papers, and presentations as required utilizing Microsoft Office family of products (i.e. Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Access)Develop and maintain an electronic resource, to include key points of contact, to be used for mission continuity that may be accessed by all stakeholdersRequirements:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in information or computer science-related subject areas (e.g., project management, database management, software development and implementation, or portal management, etc.)5 years' experience in database development, managing and software implementation3 years of experience developing and presenting verbal and written products at the general/flaglevel command staff5 years' experience using Microsoft Office products (e.g., SharePoint, Word, and PowerPoint, Access, Excel etc.)Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance
