Platform Architect
to help lead and drive change. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to spearhead the design, migration, and evolution of key systems like ITSM, ITAM, ITOM, and CMDB, all while ensuring our platform meets energy industry regulations (NERC, CIP, SOC1). You'll have the opportunity to work in an agile, squad-based environment, partnering with cross-functional teams to drive scalable, secure, and compliant solutions that support MISO's long-term objectives.
As our
Platform Architect , you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our service management platform is future-ready, secure, and compliant. You'll enjoy a fast-paced environment where innovation and impact go hand-in-hand.
What You'll Do as our Platform Architect:
Lead the migration of critical systems (ITSM, ITAM, ITOM, CMDB), ensuring a smooth transition by collaborating with internal teams and external partners.Integrate compliance into every aspect of the platform by embedding regulatory frameworks (NERC, CIP, SOC1) into workflows, security protocols, and configurations.Establish platform standards for configuration, integrations, and customizations to ensure scalability and consistency.Collaborate with IT Security on the platform security, ensuring robust role-based access control (RBAC), encryption, and compliance with MISO's security policies.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect future-ready service management solutions, adding new modules and capabilities that align with MISO's vision.Drive change management initiatives, ensuring seamless adoption of platform enhancements and updates across the organization.Stay ahead of the curve with ServiceNow developments, contributing to our roadmap for future capabilities that meet evolving business and regulatory needs.Mentor and guide the ITSM team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.What You'll Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or 6-8 years of relevant experience).Proven experience (7 to 10+ years) in platform architecture, specifically in ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, and CMDB.Experience in compliance frameworks (NERC, CIP, SOC1), with the ability to design solutions that integrate security and regulatory controls.A track record of success in platform migrations, building scalable, secure, and compliant systems.Strong collaboration and leadership skills, with a passion for working in agile, cross-functional teams.
Appropriate level will be determined based upon experience and knowledge.
