As a Product Owner in MISO's Energy Markets system, you will drive innovative, creative solutions to enhance MISO's day-ahead and real-time energy and ancillary services, registration and enrollment, market analytics, and settlements products. You'll play a critical role in assessing product opportunities and risks by fostering a collaborative environment where developers and business stakeholders trust and work efficiently together to build valuable products. Your responsibilities will include identifying root causes of challenges and providing value-driven solutions by generating and prioritizing a product backlog for software development teams.

You have built strong, collaborative relationships with the product team, users and other stakeholdersYou have developed a roadmap to meet organizational strategic needs and effectively prioritize the backlog of work for the software development teamBusiness value and requirements are clearly defined and aligned with subject matter experts, enabling efficient Agile ceremonies and minimizing developer reworkThe software development team consistently estimates and delivers on business requests in a timely mannerYou've demonstrated your understanding of how your software applications provide value to MISOWe are looking for

Can create a collaborative environment where developers and business stakeholders work together effectively and with trust.Have experience with Agile software development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, XP).Are skilled in data analysis and decision-making.Bring familiarity and passion for the energy industry and/or product developmentHave a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, (or 4 years relevant work experience equivalency) and 2-5 years of experience as a Product Owner.
Appropriate level will be determined based upon experience and expertise.
