*Location:*Shaw Mountain of Cascadia, located in beautiful Boise, Idaho, is a warm, supportive, and friendly workplace committed to excellence in long-term care. We are actively seeking an experienced and dedicated Wound Care Nurse (RN) to join our skilled nursing facility (SNF) team. *Essential Qualifications:**Required:** Current, valid RN license in the state of Idaho.* Proven experience in wound care nursing within a long-term care or skilled nursing facility.* Strong clinical skills in wound assessment, treatment planning, and documentation.* Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.* Physical ability to perform the duties required for wound care, including lifting and repositioning residents.
*Preferred:** Experience in infection control, wound prevention, and treatment of pressure ulcers.* Knowledge of memory care, COVID-19 care, and other specialized areas in long-term care.* Certification in Wound Care (WCC, CWCN, or equivalent) is a plus!
*Key Responsibilities:** Deliver specialized wound care to residents, including wound assessments, treatments, and preventive measures.* Collaborate closely with physicians, wound care specialists, and interdisciplinary teams to develop personalized care plans.* Monitor changes in residents' skin integrity and report any concerns to the healthcare team.* Provide timely and accurate documentation of wound care treatments and progress in medical records.* Educate residents and their families on wound care management and prevention.* Ensure compliance with infection control policies and best practices.* Participate in ongoing staff training related to wound care and skin integrity.
*Schedule Options:** 12-Hour Shifts* 8-Hour Shifts* PRN Shifts Available* Full-Time and Part-Time Positions
