Registered Nurse - CVICU @ PHP Miami Valley Hospital

Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: CVICU Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift, 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week Experience: Minimum 1 year of dedicated CVICU experience required; Level 1 Trauma experience preferred; Travel experience preferred License: Any state RN license accepted; can apply for a temporary license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: - Must pass an online EKG tele competency assessment before starting - Experience with A-Lines, ventilators, drips, sheaths, dialysis, and drawing ABGs - EPIC experience required Job Description: - Open to first-time travelers; do not need to have an Ohio license - Possibility of block schedule - Must work every other holiday and every other weekend - Targeted patient ratios are 1:2 in a 36-bed unit - Wear navy blue scrubs - Float to other specialty clusters as necessary - Work every other weekend/holiday - Following cancellation policies apply: shifts may be canceled due to low census - Free gym membership - Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only) - Lab work and EKG/Dysrhythmia exam must be completed within 72 hours of signing contract - Maximum of 14 days of requested time off allowed - Any schedule requests, start dates, and requested time off should be submitted with the initial application
