BasicsThe Kendra Scott Internship experience is a 9-week, paid program with the requirement to be in Austin, TX. The internship will begin on June 2nd and end July 31st.This is a full-time, 40/hour a week, in person opportunity. This program will be offered at $17/hour.Please apply to only one internship position that you are most interested in pursuingSponsorship and Relocation assistance is not currently provided.The deadline for internship applications is November 1, 2024, at 11:59 pm PSTCandidates will be informed of their status throughout our process, with final offers being extended in December 2024Qualifications:Currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelors Degree with an expected graduation date of May 2025, December 2025, or May 2026A minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA is requiredReside within the vicinity of Kendra Scott HQ, Austin, TX, or have the ability to obtain housing during the internship (no relocation costs will be offered)Basic knowledge of Microsoft Suite including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, OneDrive, and SharePointThe Value You Will Receive

The outbound supply chain intern will be joining the outbound supply chain team which oversees all aspects of our small parcel and truckload shipping. From order tracking and exception management to monitoring freight spend and invoice auditing, our small but mighty team does it all! During this internship, you will learn how the supply chain team operates as a support function to our many cross functional partners as well as be introduced to how we navigate an intentionally complex and confusing landscape that is small parcel shipping. In addition, this role will be crucial in our annual carrier and supply chain testing that occurs during our summer months with the intention of continually evolving and improving the Kendra Scott supply chain for efficiency and cost effectiveness.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct support and guidance to our summer carrier testing initiativesCreate goals, objectives, and scenarios for carrier tests and utilize detailed tracking and performance monitoring to evaluate progressRely on data driven decision making mixed with critical thinking to qualify and quantify success and offer adjustments or alternative testing considerations if neededCreate slide deck to present results of carrier testing to stakeholdersAssist the supply chain analyst with routine reporting and ad hoc data analysis projectsSupport the supply chain specialist with freight booking, claims support, and other cross functional responsibilitiesOur ideal candidate will have:
Advanced excel skills with the ability to leverage complex formulas quickly and effectivelyAbility to independently evaluate scenarios and exercise initiative to execute next stepsA high level of awareness for peers and cross functional partners to know when to keep others informedAttention to detail from both a micro and macro perspectiveWillingness to exercise leadership and influence to achieve individual and team objectivesOccupational dexterity to pivot quickly and often between tasks and projectsA proven ability to work independently as well as with othersExcellent written and verbal communication skills
