Salary: Depends on Qualifications Location : Main Campus (BG), OH Job Type: Full-Time Job Number: BGSU00455 Division: V P University Advancement Department: Development Office Opening Date: 05/29/2024 Pay Grade: 354 Summary The Business Intelligence Analyst has responsibility for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining reports, data extracts, and data visualizations in support of the University Advancement office, the BGSU Foundation Board, the BGSU Alumni Board and University partners. By transforming data into useful information, this position helps move the University Advancement office forward in its ability to engage BGSU constituents and increase fundraising to support the University. Essential Functions Develop, validate, and deploy data extract and reporting tools that improve the operations of the University Advancement team and provide better decision-making capabilities. Document instructions and definitions associated with business intelligence tools to ensure a clear and complete understanding of the report and/or data. Partner with members of the University Advancement team to identify and define data extract and reporting needs along with the best delivery method. Provide training and support to end users on institutional business intelligence resources, including subject matter expertise related to data and business definitions. Complete special projects, other related duties, and participate in University Advancement activities, as assigned. Minimum Qualifications The following Degree is required: Bachelor's degree required. Degree must be conferred at the time of application. The following Degree is required: Bachelor's degree in Business intelligence, computer science, information systems management, statistics or a related field The following Experience is required: 1 year of business intelligence and/or analysis 1 year report development Additional Information Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Experience using Microsoft PowerBI and Blackbaud's The Raiser's Edge NXT Experience using data visualization, dashboard, and reporting tools Excellent customer service skills Deadline to apply: The search committee will review applications until the position is filled; however, for best consideration, applications should be provided by June 12, 2024.
