Compensation
Our compensation is aligned with labor costs across various U.S. geographic regions. The base salary for this position ranges from $150,000 up to $190,000 annually. Actual pay is based on several factors, including the specific location, as well as relevant skills, experience, and job-related expertise. Depending on the position, target bonuses and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits

Position Summary:This position will ideally be based on the Pacific North West or Northern California and report to the Senior Vice President, Retail Sales - West. This key position on the Sales Team will be focused on several strategic national customers. It will involve strategic fact-based selling as well as project management. It will require extensive collaboration with internal marketing, product development, R&D, production and category management teams. The responsibility will be to develop and guide the implementation of account specific business plans that achieve profitability and sales targets. This individual will serve as the primary account contact, providing account leadership. This position will also be responsible for managing, coaching and training a team of 5 to 10 Brand Ambassadors. The Brand Ambassadors are responsible for executing promotion events with customers for Costco.
Responsibilities:
Develop account plan/strategies to achieve sales goalsAchieve all sales and profit goals with existing customers and targeted new customersConduct regular business reviews with customers and internal teamsCommunicate all customer initiatives to internal teams and leverage company expertise/capabilitiesLead all projects related to customerWork collaboratively with all internal cross functional teamsIdentify and communicate opportunities for growth and risksIdentify and communicate competitive activitiesPresent new products / negotiate pricingManage broker network where applicableManage, coach, train and hire for Brand Ambassador positionsProvide regular forecasts on business based on trends, new business and promotional eventsBy your key position in our company, you will support our environmental and social initiatives to drive progress against our 2025 corporate social responsibility and B Corp certification ambitionsPosition Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business, sales or marketing5 to 10 years' experience managing business within region or large national customersExcellent management, leadership, interpersonal and organizational skillDemonstrated ability to build and maintain business relationships with executive level decision makers and internal resources at all levelsExcellent written and verbal communication in one-on-one and group settingsDemonstrate excellence in the areas of time management, communications, decision making, negotiations and project management skillsAbility to lead projects through cross functional teamsAbility to analyze sales trends and develop sales plans based on opportunities"Outside the box" thinkerStrong business acumenMust be a team playerMust be competitive and possess a drive to succeedMust be able to travel +60% of time
