IT Support Specialist

We are searching for a talented IT Support Specialist to join our new GP Strategies Government Solutions Division IT team. Responsibilities:

•Serve as the first line of support for internal customers seeking technical assistance

•Perform remote and onsite troubleshooting and support of workstations, printers, basic LAN/WiFi connectivity and software applications

•Provide support for Microsoft 365 GCCH environment including Office 365, Azure AD, Intune, SharePoint and similar Microsoft applications

•Provide technical support for Windows 11, Android and iOS devices

•Meet service level agreements (SLA's) ensuring priority incidents and requests are addressed in a timely manner

•Administer the hardware inventory, asset management database, assignment/tracking of assets and hardware refresh needs

•Perform imaging/re-imaging and deployment of workstations

Requirements:

•BS in Computer Science or similar field of study and 2-3 years of practical experience or equivalent combination of education, relevant industry certifications and experience

•Microsoft, networking, security or other IT certifications are a plus

•Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a US DoD Secret Clearance

•Experience with Microsoft Windows 10/11 and workstation support in a remote workforce environment

•Experience with mobile device management (MDM) platforms such as Intune

•Experience administering Active Directory/365 user accounts and security/permissions

•Experience with administration and support of Microsoft SharePoint and Teams environments

•Must be a proactive, team player with ability to adapt quickly and a desire to learn new technologies

•Customer service focused mentality with a continuous improvement mindset

•This is a hybrid position. Must be within commutable distance to Columbia, MD and able to work onsite up to 2-3 days per week

•Ability to travel on occasion up to 5% annually
