Overview:
This role is responsible for RMA inspection, refurbishment, and verification for NanoString Instruments, parts, and sub-assemblies. This position will be expected to perform instrument Quality Control, troubleshooting, and repairing complex mechanical, optical, and fluidic instrumentation for multiple instruments.
Responsibilities:This position reports to the Manager, Technical Service.Perform Incoming Inspection and Qualification testing on NanoString Instruments following revision-controlled Standard Operating ProceduresRecord nonconformances and perform investigations into failures Troubleshoot, Repair, and requalify instruments in accordance with training and service manualsQualifications:Supporting Verification and Validation of changes of procedures and forms including IQC, Installation, PreventativePerform incoming inspection of returned parts and instrumentsPerform decontamination, evaluation, troubleshooting, repair, and qualifications of parts and instrumentsPerform high-value refurbishment and qualifications of high-value sub-assemblies working with supply chain and vendorsPerform Service Support tool assembly and qualificationIdentify opportunities to reduce cycle time and field failuresDevelop and implement fixates, jigs, and test fixtures as appropriateAt Bruker, base salary is part of our total compensation. The estimated base salary range for this full-time position is between $62,000 and $85,000 and provides an opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role.The base salary for the role will depend on a several job-related factors, including, but not limited to education, training, experience, the geographic location of the successful candidate, skills, competencies, job-related knowledge and travel requirements for this position.
