Join our fintech culture within a Blue-Chip company where we are changing the way we use technology to support our customers, dealers and business.Responsibilities:About The Role:The Business Systems Analyst II is responsible for providing analysis and second-tier support for the business areas assigned to them. The position involves, but is not limited to, the analysis, design and estimation of small to medium-scale projects, product support and coordination with team members on project development. This position will be involved throughout the software development life-cycle and will provide both technical and functional support to the end-users and will have a solid understanding of the business processes and how those processes relate to the associated business applications. The BSA II will also be involved in moderate coordination with other departments, business partners and outside vendors.Gather customer business requirements, functional specifications, and documentation to provide innovative business solutions and recommend system, product and process enhancementsProvide applications second-tier support for systems issue resolutionProvide business software implementation and administration set-up and configurationProvide coordination of software interfaces between supported business applications with program development teamsConduct Quality Assurance and system testing, assist with systems implementations and the evaluation of the resultsProvide business rules and process interpretation and documentation for assigned applications and systemsWork closely with and communicate with management and business partners on business systems, project status and facilitating project completionPerform project planning, coordination and management on multiple projectsInterface with software vendors and suppliers in support of business application software packagesDesign and create production and ad hoc reportsThis position involves moderate coordination with other departments, business partners and outside vendors in order to provide customer supportThe position must also accurately elicit requirements and request from the business and or vendorThis position must maintain compliance with all SOX security and operational standardsPerform other duties as assignedConform with all company policies and proceduresQualifications:What Makes You A Dream Candidate?Knowledge of business processes for supported business groupsKnowledge of GM Financial's core business functionsSuccessfully implement projects and upgrades that will transition to production supportAccurately and throughly document test results when testing is requiredKnowledge of information technology systems, infrastructure and operationsKnowledge of systems analysis techniquesWorking knowledge of information systems and operations systems for supported business groupsWorking knowledge of the consumer loan businessKnowledge of GM Financial's core business functionsKnowledge of security methodologies, policies, standards and best practicesKnowledgeable of best practices in information technology governance and regulatory landscape for financial institutionStrong in the use of Microsoft Office software including strong ability to analyze data using Excel for reporting and data mining purposesStrong people skills including the ability to interact with employees at all levelsAbility to meet expected delivery dates and the tasks necessary to achieve objectivesDeadline orientedExcellent written and oral communication skillsExcellent computer skills and conversance in information technology issuesMust be a self-starter and able to manage the investigations function with minimal supervisionAbility to write intermediate SQL queries and to understand technical specifications to ensure proposed solutions meet business requirementsAbility to prioritize multiple tasks and a moderate workloadExperience:High School Diploma or equivalent requiredBachelors Degree in related field or equivalent work or military experience preferredof experience in an IT environment and respective business area in analyzing and implementing applications systems requiredWhat We Offer:
