You will represent one of the top tier brands in the HVAC distribution channel for the Wisconsin/Minnesota Region. You will be part of a highly motivated, winning team fostering an inclusive and positive environment. You will be responsible for profitable share of market (SOM) growth - in the assigned markets.
How you will do it:
Lead and develop local market sales providing guidance, training, and support to exceed annual financial plan and SOM growth targets.Contribute as an integral part of the Area Leadership team, developing business strategy and implementing growth plans.Thoughtfully lead market pricing to realize margin growth.Handle all aspects of the Dealer experience (programs, product offering, price, promotion, etc.).Build and grow key distributor relationships synergistic to the growth of JCI Unitary Products, Residential AOR, Residential New Construction, and Commercial.Manage local line card of the non-JCI products necessary to meet customer project needs.Identify profitable growth strategies and opportunities working Regional LeadershipDevelop and implement, with approval and guidance of the JCI Marketing Manager, program packages to drive profitable SOM growth including advertising, Dealer programs, trips and meetings, Co-op advertising, and other marketing strategies as appropriate.Work directly with Area Operations Manager to manage (either directly or indirectly) store transactional accuracy and efficiency to include inventory turns, SKU accuracy and local tendering.Work closely with Area Leadership to provide market planning and overall area support.Closely manage, in coordination with JCI Business Center, customer credit lines and accounts receivable, handling cash flow.What we look for:Required
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field of study.5+ years' successful field sales and management experience.HVAC industry experienceStrong listening skills and decision-making ability.Effective and professional communication.Strong organization skills.Strong coaching skills and professional creativity.Proven teaching abilities.Ability to travel up to 30%.
This will be a remote role covering Wisconsin and Minnesota. Candidates must live in the territory and preference is in the Milwaukee or Madison area.

I have been in the HVAC industry for over 20 years and love the industry. I am passionate about the customer experience and developing people to reach their full potential. Our industry is constantly changing, and I enjoy applying best practices learned into the business and sharing with the team. I have developed the team to take initiative and not shy away from hard problems.
I like to empower my team to make decisions that are best for the customer and the company but know they will be supported for doing the right thing. I believe in working hard, but spending time with friends and family when the work for the day is over and feeling good about what was accomplished for the day to support the business and our customers.
