The planner partners with the advisor to prepare, deliver and present high-quality, comprehensive plans and reviews for both prospects and clients. We are looking for someone analytical, tenacious, accountable, collaborative, and resourceful. The ideal candidate takes the initiative, works autonomously, and demonstrates follow-through on all projects.Position SummaryYou will partner with a team of financial planning specialists and CFP practitioners to deliver an exceptional planning experience for all clients.We are seeking a Financial Planner who is collaborative, has strong technical skills, effective communication skills, excellent organizational and critical thinking skills, and excels in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.Essential Job FunctionsUtilize the seven steps of the financial planning process outlined for CFP practitionersPlanning areas: cash flow, tax planning, major purchase planning, asset allocation planning, risk management, retirement planning, business planning, estate planningInput data into financial planning softwareDraft/review custom financial planning advicePresent financial plans without supervisionImplement financial planning adviceCollaborate with other planning team members to create and implement best practices.Tax PlanningOther Job FunctionsFirm SupportResearching financial planning topicsAttend and participate in marketing eventsServe as a financial planning subject matter expertParticipate in training software and other wealth plan systemsCollaborate with other financial plannersAssist/Lead monthly Wealth Advisor/Financial Planning meetings.Future opportunity to oversee and organize a team of financial plannersKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesMinimum of five (5) years of relevant experienceBachelors degree requiredCFP practitionerA CPA designation is a plusMinimum of 5 years of experience in the financial industryMoney Guide Pro and Salesforce experience a plusMicrosoft Office Suite IntermediateSuperior client service skillsDrive for professional growthExcellent phone and personal communication skills
