Really looking for a "Product Owner".Someone that can work with business units on AI opportunities and look at tools that are available or coming in the future (example: manufacturing for Toy companies these are the latest tools, that will save costs).Read Gartner reports, white papers, understand business flow and how AI can support it ( then come and say this is the AI we will need next as it will save costs, attract more users, make the next cutting edge toy at a profitable margin).Resourceful personResearch and Data FocusWorks with Business UnitsDesign workshopsBusiness Case planning templateAnnual planning exercisesRequirements gatheringWork with DevOps on POC's and deliver to themCreate User Stories, Creating wireframes, mockupsWill be representing business in Sprint Planning activitiesThen standard Product Owner stuff, like UAT, Market Research, Industry standards and what is next, current state, future state, documentation, etc.Really strong requirements solicitation background and familiar with Program and Project Management principles with Agile methodology7+ years of Product Manager or Product Owner working with Software Development Teams as a minimum (most likely 14+ years of experience)JIRA, Miro are used dailyQualifications:
Partner with the business process owners to obtain and maintain an in-depth knowledge of Mattel business processes with attention to opportunities for improvement and challenging the status quo both via process re-engineering and from automation through technology.Develop business requirement and business case documents along with financial justification and ROI for all initiatives.Work with business to identify and understand issues, problems, and opportunities; compare data from different sources to draw conclusions; use effective approaches for choosing a course of action or developing appropriate solutions; and take action that is consistent with available facts, constraints, and probable consequences during business requirement gathering stage of a project/initiative.Develop as is to be process flows.Coordinate Organization Change Management in alignment with the to be state.Develop and sustain productive customer relationships.Lead User Acceptance testing to ensure that the system addresses the business needs from the users point of view.Manage multiple projects to coordinate all aspects of implementation and delivery of tasks necessary for successful project execution.Evaluate timing of software version upgrades and facilitate migrations.Partner with GTO Client Services, Architecture teams to ensure timely and effective break/fix and add/change services.Liaison between business users and a variety of GTO departments, including Network, Architecture, IT Security, Server Support, etc.Acting as a lead for cross-functional team implementationsAssist in managing 3rd-party providers7+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product ManagerExperience working on software development projects, including mobile applications, AI preferred.Solid understanding of information architectureProven experience working in an Agile project framework like Scrum, XP, or Lean DevelopmentDesign thinking and workshop experience required.Experience in building jira user story, features, epics, and business cases.Expert at Miro, Jira, Jira Align
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.Minimum 7+ years of experience in a Product Owner, Business Analyst or Senior Business Analyst Role.Consulting and analytical skills.Ability to identify business process improvement opportunities as it relates to industry best practices and software package out of the box functionality utilization.Ability to analyze risks, mitigate liabilities and negotiate solutions.Ability to facilitate ideation sessions and business requirements sessions with a large number of users and produce pertinent business project documents and business process modeling documentation, including business requirements documents, with an emphasis on the AI enablers.Strong communication skills both verbal and written.Ability to conduct user acceptance testing, test scenario formation and communicate the results to the IT resources to drive for resolution or improvement.
