The North America HVAC business currently has an opening for a Quality Data Analyst, reporting the Quality Assurance Manager.

Specific responsibilities for this position include:Be responsible for building and supporting analytics dashboards for the North America HVAC business group.Be a subject matter expert on data sources and warranty analytics at Carrier.Provide data analysis reports with full summary breakdowns, identifying top issues.Report out at monthly Quality/Warranty Dashboard Review meetings with customers and leadership.Work closely with the manufacturing plants and Quality team to identify issues utilizing field dataSome travel will be required.Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or Programming2+ years experience in data analytics, engineering or systems management rolesPreferred Qualifications:

Experience in the HVAC industryExperience in data analysis and complex data mining. Including networking from several data sources also including AI.Experience with IBM SPSS, Power BI, Tableau, R, Python, or SQL ServerProficient with Microsoft Office suite products and proven ability to utilize their advanced capabilitiesDemonstrated ability to work in cross-functional teams in root cause analysis. Executing change initiatives to improve products.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work in a self-directed manner to identify the needs of the organization and/or customer, articulate necessary proposals, and see projects through to completion.Highly organized with strong attention to detail, while multitasking several objectives.Passion for servicing customers. Ability to listen to customer needs and quickly act to solve their problems, go above and beyond to exceed their expectation.Ability to think outside the box, innovate, take risks, and implement progressive, sustainable solutionsContinuous improvement/Lean principles/Six Sigma experience is a plus.
