System Engineer Job Description:
The System Engineer is responsible for assisting in the research, analysis, management or testing duties related to the design, development, integration, implementation, and quality assurance of software products, programs, and systems. In this role you will work with the client to perform analysis necessary to define and document requirements for software releases; work with the Requirements Manager to ensure up to date requirements traceability matrices are in place; assist in the creation/management of a project schedule based on development and release activities. The intent is to help Spectra improve their current manufacturing process for integrating the GLSDB AUR by eliminating process variation, improving process flow and integrating optimum process/procedures that will drive significant rate increase capability in their factory. Total travel will be based on collaborative team findings/suggestions and guidance with and from the team.

Experience working in cross discipline teamsNetworking system design in classified environments and systems accreditationExperience with python or other scripting languagesAssist in developing system specifications, technical and logistical requirements and other disciplinesAssist in creating and maintaining programmatic and technical documentation to insure efficient planning and executionAssist in coordinating system development tasks to include design, integration and formal testingSupport Preliminary Design Reviews, Critical Design Reviews, Test Readiness Reviews, Application Functional Test/Application System Integration Testing, System Readiness Reviews, and In Process ReviewDeploy product/solution in support of a DoD contract in capacity of system engineer or technical architectProvide assistance in managing and documenting system configurationsContribute to all aspects of the requirement definition and execution of activities for full System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) of the projectParticipate in test coordination and oversight for all applications and systems supported by the programParticipate in and contribute to As-Is and To-Be process design and build process diagrams.Work with project leads (Development, Functional, Technical, Interface/Conversion) to ensure an integrated product and to confirm requirementsWork with customer and other contractors to coordinate system rollout activities with cross functional teams including IV&V and data centersEnsure the finished product meets the design objectives and any other appropriate criteria associated with the system requirements and Statement of WorkMust Have Qualifications:
