Who we are looking for. State Street is seeking a self-motivated hands-on full-time Application Developer to join the Reference Data development team in our Irvine, CA office. The candidate will be responsible for functional enhancements to business-critical software.

What you will be responsible for As an Application Developer, you will

•Develop and maintain Reference Data Systems software

•Assume ownership from development to Production rollout

•Work in multi-location agile environment in alignment with business and technology teams.

•Follow application Development, Data engineering, Performance and security standards.

•Solid experience in the full software development life cycle for large-scale applications, including architecture and design, requirements analysis, development and testing, and production deployment.

•Excellent verbal and written communication skills to facilitate strong team collaboration.

•Strong Hands-on large scale, multi-tenant development experience.

•Effective communication skills to interact with various stakeholders and senior management.

•Ability to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies quickly.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

•The preferred candidate will have minimum of 10+ years of experience as an Application Developer in enterprise software development and Solution Architecture.

•Strong technical experience in C++, Java, ReactJS required

•RDBMS SQL skills required (Sybase & SQL Server experience preferred)

•Experience with application security, scalability and performance.

•Experience with Unix and Unix shell scripting strongly preferred.

•Experience with Drools preferred.

•Experience in the financial industry is a plus.

Salary Range: $110,000 - $177,500 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
