Systems Analyst

Our large Utilities client in Pittsburgh, PA is hiring for a systems & Software Analyst. This is a direct hire, Full Time position. Hybrid 2x per week onsite.Responsible for successful situational leadership of and collaboration within product and project teams by analyzing business and technical opportunities and challenges in order to define and execute effective system configuration, integration, implementation, and support.Job Responsibilities:The role balances three essential accountabilities:Influence technical product strategy, direction, and goals by understanding business/technical context and working with stakeholders to deliver valuable functionalityBuilding and managing relationships with key users and leadership, as well as suppliers, and working within the team to establish and maintain an understanding of the specific product lifecycle and system and process dependenciesAchieve product and project goals through collaboration within the team and across teams to determine what needs to be done, why, how, and by whenAccountability for delivery of projects owned and led by the team, as well as leadership for team activities within larger-scale projects. Ensuring progress is effectively tracked and communicatedCommitment to technical support, which is the backbone of the team. The efforts of support both influence and are influenced by the goals and outcomes of the dimensions described above.Education/Experience Requirements:Bachelors degree in computer science, data networking, or related fields (equivalent experience/certifications/degrees will be taken into consideration)Five (5) years related experiencePreferred Qualifications Include:Experience working in traditional (waterfall) and agile software delivery environmentsExperience with systems integration and implementation of vendor applicationsStrong interpersonal verbal and written communication skills and the ability to exhibit sound technical judgment under pressureExperience using SQL, Perl, Python, shell scripting, and Oracle/SQL Server databases beneficialElectric utility metering or billing experience beneficial (e.g. meter metrology, billing constructs for electric metering, advanced metering infrastructure software and/or hardware)Certifications in applicable technical disciplines are a plus-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Let's Succeed Together!Welcome to IntePros, a certified woman-owned company specializing in innovative and results-oriented recruiting and staffing solutions.
