JDE Business System Analyst

Insight Global is looking for a Business Systems Analyst to work for a large food distribution client located in Irvine, CA. This position is onsite three days a week The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for delivering high-quality, comprehensive systems designs, business requirements, and business cases to the IT organization, aimed at enhancing business efficiency and productivity upon implementation.

The candidate will operate in a corporate setting, collaborating with managers and staff. They should possess a solid understanding of core distribution processes, including finance setups and processes, sales orders to cash, procurement to payables processes, and a working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) in a distribution environment. Familiarity with systems such as ERP (JD Edwards) and WMS (JDA/BlueYonder) is beneficial.

Required Skills & Experience

8+ years of systems design and test experience with some related leadership experience.Experience working in core distribution business processes such as: Sales to Cash, Procure to Pay, Accounting (AP/AR), and Warehouse ManagementAbility to understand, communicate, interpret client business processes and requirements.Ability to configure and test with the u .Good to excellent verbal and written communications skills.Experience with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) converting business documents and understanding how data is formatted and processed. Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Two-year college required or applicable trade school or commensurate work experience, four-year college preferred.
