In addition, staff members have flexible schedules and are eligible to earn quarterly bonuses after their training period.Job Type: Full-timeStarting Salary: $15.38/hrJob Summary:mentor2.0 is a Site-Based Facilitated Mentoring Program that operates in a high school setting. The Program Facilitator works to match students with volunteers from the community and form high-impact mentoring relationships through curriculum facilitation. The Program Facilitator provides support and guidance to foster growth and increase the options and opportunities of New Mexico's youth through weekly lessons and monthly event planning.Responsibilities:Pair EngagementIncludes matching, match support, tracking and facilitating mentor/mentee participation rates, and documenting and recording data.Mentee EngagementIncludes classroom instruction, coaching students, collaborating with unmatched students, and working with teachers, administration, and others to meet goals.Mentor EngagementIncludes training, communicating regularly, and recruiting mentors.Special Project DeliveryIncludes developing/planning meaningful projects, coordinating team members and participants, and documenting these experiences.Collaboration and Teamwork Outside DepartmentIncludes serving on agency committees, collaborating with agency staff and sister agency peers.Other duties as assignedRequirementsRequired Skills/Abilities•BA required•Experience with program management•Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking•Commitment to innovation and process improvement•Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software•Data management and reporting experience•Bilingual preferred•Educational experience preferred•Case management experience preferredPhysical/Base Requirements:•Use personal vehicle to travel across multi-county service area, with primary work in/around metro ABQ•Attend evening/weekend activities/events•Minimal physical requirements: walking, standing, sitting at a workstation; typical office environmentEqual Employment Opportunity BBBS-CNM provides equal employment opportunities to all qualified individuals without regard to race, creed, color, religion, national origin, age, sex, marital status, sexual orientation, or non-disqualifying physical or mental handicap or disability.
