Social Media Strategist$45,000 - $65,000/year As the Social Media Strategist at Shive-Hattery, you'll have the opportunity to shape our digital presence and showcase how Shive-Hattery designs what matters through creative, value-driven content across various platforms. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to collaborate with industry experts, bring fresh ideas to life, and spearhead a multi-channel social media strategy that engages potential recruits, clients, and partners. What You'll Do: Create and lead social media strategy: Develop a plan highlighting Shive-Hattery experts' unique perspectives and value proposition. Content creation: Craft compelling stories using various formats (short-form videos, graphics, photography, data visualizations) to showcase projects, employee experiences, and industry insights. Platform management: Identify the best platforms to reach key audiences and ensure a consistent, authentic voice across all channels. Collaborate and curate: Partner with internal teams to source project highlights, employee stories, and company news for social media content. Engage with audiences: Respond to comments and direct messages to maintain a positive and responsive brand presence and proactively engage with industry influencers, clients, and partners. Performance tracking: Set goals and track metrics to measure the impact of social media efforts, using data to refine strategies and optimize content. Establish guidelines: Develop social media guidelines that uphold brand voice, tone, and style consistency. Qualifications: Proficiency in creating short-form videos, editing, and social media copywriting. Understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Facebook, etc.) and how to leverage each for different audiences. Strong creative thinking and storytelling skills-you can transform technical concepts into engaging, shareable content. Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and analytics platforms (Google Analytics, platform insights, etc.). Understanding of SEO principles and their application to social media. Experience with basic design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) is a plus, but not required eagerness to learn is more important! Proven track record of growing social media engagement and followers. Work Environment & Expectations:We value work-life balance and respect your personal time. This position primarily follows regular business hours (Monday to Friday), with minimal requirements for nights or weekends, making it ideal for those seeking balance alongside professional growth. Some occasional travel may be required to any of our 16 offices across the U.S. to capture content and collaborate with regional teams, experiencing firsthand the work we do and the people who make it possible.
