Job SummaryPrepares,develops and analyzes university related statistical data concerning students, course,employee, and university matters from internal and external sources.Responsible for reporting statistical data internally and externally.
Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesManage and maintain adhoc data request system and survey research requesting institutionaldemographics.Both duties requiredeveloping, analyzing, and reporting reports and queries.Reconcile office budgetand provide ongoing budget analysis using Excel.Responsible for preparing,analyzing and reporting official data to the Federal Government(Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System - IPEDS).Responsible for assistingthe implementation of the data literacy program each semester inconjunction with the Senior Research Analyst.Responsible for assistingthe implementation of the data integrity program each semester inconjunction with the Assistant Director for Institutional Research - DataIntegrity Analyst.Support the Director forInstitutional Research and Assistant Director for Institutional Research,Data Integrity Analyst in handling requests for information.Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor'sdegree from an accredited college or university in data science, computerscience, social science or related fields; At least 2 years' experience and/ortraining in analyzing data; or equivalent combination of education andexperience.
Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesComfortablewith Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Access;Ability to design SQL queries;Demonstrated ability to work effectively with data and numbers;Ability toprepare concise reports; Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy;Excellentorganization and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications Proficiencywith use of Microsoft Access, SQL, PeopleSoft, Tableau; Demonstrated dataquality control experience.
