DescriptionESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES -+ Provides technical support for both hardware and software issues our users encounter+ Manages the configuration and operation of client-based computer operating systems+ Monitors the system daily and respond immediately to security or usability concerns+ Maintains system backups including creation and testing+ Responds to and resolve Service Desk requests+ Upgrades systems and processes as required for enhanced functionality and security issue resolution+ Administers infrastructure, including firewalls, databases, malware protection software, and other processes+ Reviews application and system logs+ Installs and tests computer-related equipment+ Stays current with new technologies, organizing pilot studies and demonstrations to understand how they may fit into the current environment+ Works with IT Management team to ensure compliance for governmental and contractual requirements+ Conducts oneself in accordance with Companys Core Values+ Other duties as assignedMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE -+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or equivalent experience in system administration+ Experience maintaining VMWare environments and Windows servers, including setup/build, patching, troubleshooting, and application/operating system performance tuning+ Two years experience with server virtualization+ Experience with Storage Area Network technologies, Veeam, Nimble, VMware administration, and design and implementation of new systems+ Ability to manage Active Directory and Group Policies+ Experience designing and maintaining wired and wireless infrastructure+ Ability to install, configure, and maintain Exchange Server, SQL Server, and M365+ Experience in administration of IP Switching and TCP/IP networking+ General understanding of Cisco Systems required, CCNA preferred+ Strong customer service orientation+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present ideas, concepts, and proposals to a wide range of internal and external audiences at all levels, both technical and non-technical+ Five years of supervisor or management experience is preferred with demonstrated leadership skills and ability to coach employeesWe are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual origin, gender identity, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
