Advanced Renovation Group is seeking a meticulous and organized Construction Office Accountant to join our team. As a Construction Office Accountant, you will play a vital role in managing and overseeing the financial operations of our construction projects. Your primary responsibilities will include managing accounts, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies. You will work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to facilitate smooth financial operations and contribute to the successful completion of our construction projects.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Financial Management : Handle all aspects of financial management for construction projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring expenses.Accounts Payable/Receivable:
Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments to vendors and subcontractors and accurate invoicing to clients.Payroll Management:
Process payroll for construction staff, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.Financial Reporting:
Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, reports, and records, providing regular updates to senior management and project teams.Cost Tracking:
Monitor project costs, ensuring they remain within budget, and prepare variance analysis reports.Compliance:
Ensure all financial operations comply with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.Audit Support:
Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and ensuring compliance with audit requirements.Collaboration:
Work closely with project managers and other departments to provide financial insights and support project planning and execution.The ideal candidate should possess:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.Experience:
Proven experience as an Accountant in the construction industry or a similar field.Knowledge : Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations specific to the construction industry.Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing and preparing contract documents.Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.Proficiency in contract management software, including Microsoft Office Suite, Quickbooks, and Procore.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle complex contract issues effectively.Certifications:
CPA or equivalent certification is a plus but not required.Benefits:
