We're looking for a Construction Accountant to keep us financially on track while we turn blueprints into reality. You'll be the superhero who knows exactly where every dollar went, ensuring our projects don't blow the budget (or our minds). Your Role: As the Construction Accountant, you'll keep the wheels (and the finances) moving on our projects. You'll manage all the thrilling aspects of job costing and construction draws while making sure our money is where it needs to be-preferably in our bank account. You'll partner with project managers, who speak fluent ""concrete,"" and make sure we stay within budget without pulling any hair out. Why you'll love working here:

Responsibilities

Manage and oversee all accounting operations related to construction projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and job costing.Prepare and analyze financial reports, ensuring accuracy in cost allocation, billing, and project profitability.Monitor and reconcile project budgets and expenses, identifying and resolving discrepancies.Manage construction draws, including preparing and submitting draw requests, ensuring timely and accurate payments.Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and procurement teams to ensure alignment between financial data and project execution.Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate billing to clients and subcontractors.Handle month-end and year-end close processes for construction projects.Ensure compliance with industry standards, tax regulations, and company policies.Support external audits and prepare financial documentation as required.Maintain accurate financial records, documentation, and project files.Skills
