Qualis LLC is seeking a Linux System Administrator at The Missile Defense Agency's (MDA). This position requires an understanding and proficiency in Linux and ability to work in a dynamic team. The successful candidate will support the System Administration Team in the evaluation, configuration, and installation of Linux systems in a testing environment. Other duties include managing system upgrades and tracking tasks for building out systems.
Primary responsibilities:
Support simulated ground test infrastructure and reconfigurationTroubleshoot, resolve and document System Errors and ResolutionsInstallation or rebuilding of existing serversApplying DISA STIGsInstalling OS and application patchesTroubleshooting OS and resolving hardware/software problemsRequirements
Required Skills :
Experience in Linux System AdministrationExperience installing, rebuilding, and configuring Linux SystemsWilling to learn new things and share existing knowledge with othersAdaptable to changing requirementsExceptional troubleshooting skillsBS or higher in related field (or equivalent work experience)4-8 years related work experiencePreferred Skills :
Experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) EnvironmentExperience in backup software/Commvault, storage systems (NetApp)Experience in test and/or MDSFamiliarity with Windows Domains and RSAExperience working in secured spacesCertifications:
Security+ (or other DoD Approved 8750 Level II Certification)Attain Linux+ certification within first three months of employmentSecurity Clearance Requirements :
Secret clearance required
