Job Description:
Permian Resources (NYSE: PR) is currently seeking a Business Analyst reporting to the Applications Manager in Midland, Texas. This position will be responsible for providing application support for multiple business units. The ideal candidate will have strong technical and organizational skills and be able to effectively collaborate and communicate throughout the entire company.
General ResponsibilitiesLead and coordinate project activities and routine application support, collaborating with key stakeholders in both IT and the Ops business community (Drilling, Completions, Facilities, Equipment).Work closely with vendor(s) to log software defects, enhancement requests, upgrade/hot fix testing and deployments.Work in tandem with IT's Infrastructure team to ensure seamless application installations and upgrades.Conduct thorough analysis and evaluation of existing or proposed systems, ensuring alignment with business processes and requirements.Maintain back-end system configuration and implement updates to support business processes.Possess expertise in the business units they support, as well as an understanding of the IT organization's systems and capabilities.Collaborate in the design and automation of business processes and contribute to the creation of comprehensive documentation for new technology implementations.Translate high level business requirements into functional and technical specifications for the IT organization, managing and communicating any changes to these specifications as needed.Provide end user support and training as required, ensuring smooth adoption and utilization of applications/solutions.Minimum Qualifications
BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field or equivalent experienceBeginner to intermediate proficiency in SQL3+ years of related work experience in software/application supportPreferred Qualifications
Specific knowledge of Peloton applications (WellView, SiteView), with familiarity in back-end support and AdminViewExperience with Execute Wells, ProntoFroms, Compass, CorvaPrior experience in the Oil and Gas industry, specifically working with or supporting any of the business units listed aboveSpotfire and/or PowerBI experience
