Job Description:
Permian Resources (NYSE: PR) is currently seeking a Land Coordinator reporting to the Land Manager in Midland, TX. This position will be responsible for all aspects of land work within their designated area. The ideal candidate will have strong technical as well as communication skills and be able to contribute his/her expertise while working on multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
General Responsibilities:Assist in preparation of various contracts and exhibits (including but not limited to JOA's, Communitization Agreements, Designation of Pooled Units, Assignments, etc)
Prepare initial and subsequent Joint Interest Billing information for land administration and accounting
Initiate the routing of AFE's and track working interest owner ballots for all new horizontal wells, P&A's, workovers, etc.
Prepare and mail well proposals for drilling, workovers, recompletions, etc.
Assist in maintaining organized company records
Perform land ownership research using various digital sources both internal and external
Interface with WI owners and other royalty owners
Assist in technical analysis of various oil and gas leases and contracts
Track and monitor internal documents and processes
Provide land support and information critical to ongoing development of properties
Assist with Commingling Notices, Rental Payments & sending all required documentation to the NM State Land Office, Bureau of Land Management, OCD and County for approvals and/or recording
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum five (5) years of industry experience in land or related field
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel Programs required
Experience working within Land systems and applications such as: SAP, Quorum, Drilling Info, ExecuteAFE
In-house experience with a Permian Operator preferred
Strong attention to detail and flexible regarding workload and priorities
Ability to work in a fast paced organization and multi-task various projects
Strong communication and teamwork skills
