Main Responsibilities:

Strategic

  • A true business partner to the Executive Director who will assess organizational performance against both the annual budget and prepare actionable forecasts to bridge potential gaps
  • Aide in building and maintaining financial infrastructure, primary responsibility for the monthly financial close and financial statement preparation
  • Scale / streamline / restructure financial organization within USA to function efficiently and support the business
  • Participate in key decisions pertaining to strategic initiatives, operating model and operational execution; and
  • Report credible and timely financial results to executive leadership, including presentations for management and board of directors

Accounting And Administrative

  • Ensure maintenance of appropriate internal controls and financial procedures
  • Ensure timeliness, accuracy, and usefulness of financial and management reporting; oversee the preparation and communication of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Develop, drive, and improve internal policies & procedures to ensure compliance and the highest integrity
  • Assume the leadership role to get behind the numbers to drive change and move the organization to new levels of performance
  • Aide in the preparation and oversight of various statutory financial statements

Finance

  • Oversee cash flow planning and ensure availability of funds
  • Streamline cash procedures and processes throughout the region
  • Drive process improvement for the accounting & finance teams to support operations, sales and core business function
  • Oversee cash flow, cash management, working capital, and company audits
  • Prepare financial statements and reports

Qualifications For the Chief Financial Officer:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance related field required
  • Prior real estate or property management industry experience
  • Proven track record of developing, implementing, and maintaining an accounting/finance function
  • 5 years of senior-level finance experience required
  • Executive leadership and fiscal/budget management experience in a similarly complex organization; managing in a challenging fiscal environment and maximizing return on expense base
  • Strategic partnership in scaling, transforming, and driving new programs, new capabilities across patient and family experience, applied technology, education, and/or research and innovation
