POSITION PURPOSEOsprey Management has an immediate opening for an experienced Self-Storage Maintenance Technician with excellent janitorial skills at three of our locations. The ideal candidate will be an independent, self-starter who has a minimum of 2+ years of maintenance or janitorial experience with strong multitasking abilities. The Self Self-Storage Maintenance Technician is responsible for general maintenance, grounds keeping and the cleaning of storage units in preparation for rental. The Self-Storage Maintenance Technician must have reliable transportation and insurance.

This role also includes snow removal responsibilities.

SELF-STORAGE MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN BENEFITS:Competitive Starting pay $20 per HourMedical benefits in the amount of $500 per monthDental, Vision and other supplementary benefits availableHoliday PayPaid Time Off (PTO)Company Perks ProgramFlexible ScheduleOpportunities for career advancementSELF-STORAGE MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Keep outdoor areas and walkways clear of trash and debrisPerform minor repairs: Changing light bulbs, replacing door latches, roll up door repair, minor electrical, gate controls, metal roofing repairsPrep vacated units and make ready for next tenantPerform lock cuts in preparation for unit auctionsGroundskeeping including snow removalAssist with maintenance projects as requiredMulti-task and manage multiple projectsWill supervise projects with vendorsSELF-STORAGE MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN QUALIFICATIONS:Willingness to work respectfully with people of diverse backgrounds2-3 years of general maintenance experienceSnow removal equipment experience required; snow blower, plow, loader etc.Able to work independently and with minimal supervisionWilling to work in all outdoor conditions/elements – rain, snow, heat etc.Outstanding time management and organizational skillsExperience with U-Haul preferred but not requiredExperience with building maintenance (boilers, regular maintenance, etc) and knowledge of gates preferred but not requiredAbility to solve problems involving: equipment/ maintenance issues, emergency situations, etc.Ability to lift to 50 pounds is requiredValid driver's license and clean background requiredPM22Requirements:
