Description:Our client has an immediate need for a

Network Technician.

Serving in a network support and project delivery role as part of the Data Networking team in support of all technical, business, and related requirements to maintain the data network.Requirements :Demonstrated expertise, either through training, certification, or work experience, in managing Wired and Wireless networks, preferably in a Cisco environment.Cisco CCNA certification, or greaterServer hardware repair expertiseProject Management experience/certification LAN switching and routing in a Cisco enterprise network environmentWLAN fundamentals and support of Cisco solutionsServer fundamentalsResults-oriented member of technical support teams; the successful candidate is a self-starter, able to manage complex incidents, proactively identify opportunities for improvement, and develop innovative solutionsExcellent time management skills including the ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize workExcellent work ethic; willing to extend the extra effort and time required to meet critical deadlinesStrong oral and written communication skills; able to articulate ideas and listen effectively; professionally communicates with all customers, vendors, and technical support staff, including remote customers and team members in foreign countriesStrong analytical, and problem-solving skillsAccomplished analyst able to manage complex technical problems through identification, design, solution definition, and implementationDemonstrated experience managing vendor relationships related to incident management, project coordination, relationship development, and SLA maintenanceOn-call support is required, including participation in the team on-call (24/7) rotation; the candidate must be willing to work flexible hours as demanded by outage, migration & on-call activitiesHands-on team member willing to work in heavy industry/plant environmentsResponsibilities:Contributes to the team support for data network and server incident and event management including investigation, troubleshooting, reporting, resolution, root cause analysis, and corrective action management – this includes on-call, off-hours support for on-site workCoordinates with teams in the delivery of services to HDQ customersParticipates as a fully integrated member of the Data Networking team, responsible for the delivery of successful solutions and trouble-resolutionMonitors data networks for performance, security, and stability – take action to identify trends and proactively address issuesCandidate is willing to work in a hands-on role deploying equipment in office and heavy-industry environments including Data Center areas, as requiredWhy Work for ConsultUSA:ConsultUSA offers competitive salaries, major medical (PPO or HDHP w/ HSA), dental, and vision insurance plans, and 401k plan with immediate eligibility for both salary and hourly employeesConsultUSA hosts several outings and events, holiday and summer parties, and volunteer opportunities throughout the year for employeesWe will work with you to obtain training for in-demand technologies and prepare you for industry-recognized certification examsConsultUSA offers Business Analysis and Project Management training through our Project Management Institute (PMI)® award-winning sister company, PMCentersUSAHow to Apply:To submit your application, please click the “Apply Now”
