POSITION SUMMARY:
The PACS Administrator plays a pivotal role in the implementation, support, and optimization of medical imaging applications within our healthcare facility. Reporting to the Imaging Services Director, this position serves as a key on-site IS resource, overseeing the administration and support of PACS, CVIS PACS, and technical medical imaging interfaces. The primary objective is to ensure the seamless operation of imaging systems, facilitate clinical processes, and provide second-level support as a local medical imaging subject matter expert.
REQUIREMENTS:
Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology OR
Associate's Degree in Computer Science or Related Field
5 years of Imaging - Radiography experience OR
5 years of Information Services - PACS/RIS experience
Certified PACS Associate (CPAS) from the PACS Administrator Registry & Certification Association within 18 months of employment
