Overview
We are seeking an experienced and strategic HR Manager to lead our human resources functions within our Greensboro manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving organizational success by fostering a strong workplace culture, managing employee relations, and ensuring compliance with HR policies, state and federal labor laws.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic HR Leadership

    Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company’s business objectives and culture, particularly within the manufacturing environment.

  • Talent Acquisition & Retention

    Collaborate with hiring managers to identify talent needs, lead recruitment efforts, and develop retention strategies to maintain a high-performing workforce.

  • Employee Relations

    Act as the point of contact for all employee-related matters, including conflict resolution, employee engagement initiatives, and promoting a positive working environment.

  • Performance Management

    Oversee the performance evaluation process, provide guidance on career development, and ensure consistent performance management practices are in place.

  • Compliance

    Ensure company policies are compliant with local, state, and federal employment laws (including OSHA, EEOC, and FMLA). Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation.

  • HR Operations

    Manage HR systems and data to support HR processes, including onboarding, benefits administration, time tracking, and reporting.

  • Training & Development

    Identify training needs and implement development programs to enhance employee skills and leadership capabilities.

  • Change Management

    Lead HR efforts in support of organizational change initiatives, including workforce planning, restructuring, or changes to company policies.

  • Compensation & Benefits

    Partner with the compensation team to ensure competitive pay practices and manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of HR management experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience in employee relations, talent acquisition, and performance management.
  • In-depth knowledge of federal and state labor laws, including OSHA compliance.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work independently and lead initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred

  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR certification.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and data analytics.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
