This role is critical in driving financial operations, ensuring compliance, and supporting decision-making processes.

Position Overview
The Controller will oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. This individual will play a key role in maintaining financial integrity, managing risk, and ensuring the company meets its financial goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, general ledger, and financial reporting.
  • Prepare timely and accurate financial statements and management reports.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
  • Monitor cash flow, manage risk, and implement financial strategies to optimize profitability.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership to support strategic decision-making.
  • Manage and mentor accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
  • Coordinate audits and work with external auditors to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or MBA preferred).
  • Minimum of 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a Controller or senior accounting role.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience with ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Excel.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Proven track record of improving processes and driving financial performance.
  • High level of integrity, attention to detail, and a hands-on approach.
