Job Description:Driver, PTOCThe Facilities Management department supports the administration, faculty, staff and students in the quality planning and development of facilities projects that support our mission. Our talented staff of approximately 140 FTEs (Cleaning, Mechanical Trades, Central Heating Plant, Grounds, Paint, Carpentry, Stockroom, EH&S, Fleet Services, and Mail Services) are responsible for more than 2,000,000 SF of property in over 60+ major buildings and for maintaining more than 300 acres.

The Part Time On-Call Driver is scheduled to drive college-owned vehicles including its 7 and 12-passenger vans for college sponsored events and activities on an as needed basis.

Duties and Responsibilities -Drives a college-owned vehicle to off campus locations as schedule - Thursday and Friday afternoons, following the academic class schedule of the college.May be asked to be the back-up for off-campus trips.This position will be the lead for all vehicle maintenance, service appointments and vehicle cleaning protocols for all college owned vehicles.Qualifications-

3-5 years of similar driving experienceValid Commonwealth of Massachusetts Driver's licenseExcellent driving recordMust drive with care and superior judgementMust be professional at all times and maintain excellent customer serviceMust be able to travel for overnight tripsMust be able to successfully complete the College's driver credentialing programMust provide a copy of RMV driving recordBackground Checks/Compliance Requirements-

Working Conditions-

Work is normally performed driving a vehicle.Limited physical effort is required.Physical Demands-
