- Develop, test, and implement new manufacturing processes, systems, and technologies to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality.
- Conduct detailed product development processes including design, prototyping, testing, and production.
- Utilize AutoCAD and SolidWorks for drafting, modeling, and simulating mechanical systems and components.
- Manage projects effectively, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications.
- Design and implement hydraulic and pneumatic automation systems to optimize manufacturing processes.
- Work with PLC systems to control machinery and processes, ensuring efficient operation and troubleshooting any issues.
- Conduct mechanical testing of materials, components, and systems to assess performance and durability.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings and specifications, ensuring that they meet industry standards and project requirements.
- Prototype new products and systems, conducting thorough testing and analysis to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Conduct engineering analysis of systems and components, identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the Manufacturing industry.
- Proficient in the use of AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and product development.
- Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic automation systems.
- Familiarity with PLC systems and their application in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience with mechanical testing and engineering analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
