With groundbreaking technologies like Climate FieldView and our ForGround regenerative agriculture platform, our team is a part of some of the most important advancements in agriculture.We are seeking a Senior Technical Product Manager to lead product management for two Platform Services teams (a.k.a. our core infrastructure teams). As a Senior Technical Product Manager, you will drive the innovation and evolution of our cloud and infrastructure products that ultimately enable farmers around the world to obtain and utilize our digital tools. The ideal candidate brings a strong technical background in cloud technologies and infrastructure, combined with exceptional product management and leadership skills. This candidate will be responsible for defining product strategy, managing the product lifecycle, and ensuring our cloud infrastructure solutions meet the evolving needs of our organization and customers by transforming and professionalizing our internal systems as products.Product Strategy and Vision : Develop and articulate a clear vision and strategy for our cloud infrastructure products, aligning with the company's overall strategic goals.Product-Focused Infrastructure : Embody and promote a product-focused approach to infrastructure by guiding the team to view infrastructure through the lens of product development. This involves prioritizing user experience, reliability, and feature development within infrastructure projects to ensure infrastructure support and enhance organizational goals.Roadmap Development : Create and maintain a product roadmap that balances short-term deliverables with long-term vision, ensuring stakeholder alignment and managing expectations.Customer and Market Insights : Gather and analyze feedback from customers and the market to identify opportunities for product improvements and new features that enhance our competitive edge.Cross-functional Leadership : Collaborate with the engineering, operations, and product teams to ensure successful product development, launch, and internal go-to-market strategies.Feature Prioritization : Prioritize product features and capabilities based on customer needs, business value, and technical feasibility within the ICE framework.Performance Metrics : Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for cloud infrastructure products, using data to drive decisions and measure success.Mentorship : Lead and mentor infrastructure engineers to adopt a product-focused mindset by fostering a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration to empower engineers to take ownership and drive initiatives that align with strategic objectives.WHO YOU ARE

Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:Required qualificationsBachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field with 7+ years of experience in product management with a focus on cloud infrastructure, platform services, or related technologies.Advanced technical acumen, with a deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), infrastructure as code (IAC), and modern DevOps practices.Proven track record managing all aspects of a successful product lifecycle.Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior executives.Demonstrated experience using data analysis and metrics to inform product decisionsPreferred qualifications

AWS certification (Associate level and above)Previous experience managing infrastructure teamsExperience with AWS multi-account strategy and the AWS Well-Architected FrameworkExperience with the Scaled Agile frameworkExperience with Observability tools (Datadog, etc.)WHAT WE OFFER

Base salary estimated range between [$116,150 – $209,339] annually, depending on the hiring location.
