The Role

Are you passionate about ensuring the highest quality standards in product development? We’re looking for a dedicated Product Integrity & Compliance Manager to lead the charge in maintaining our commitment to safety, performance, and compliance across our product lifecycle. In this pivotal role, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive process improvements, and oversee testing and inspection protocols to ensure that every product not only meets but exceeds regulatory standards. What you’ll do:

Quality Assurance and Compliance:

Ensure raw materials and finished product development meet product safety, regulatory compliance, performance, and labeling requirements.

Conduct material and product risk assessments, providing recommended solutions to stakeholders.

Accountability for all CPSC filing requirements and compliance requirements, including submission of all documentation

Collaborate with Customer Services to address failures and complaints, providing feedback and recommendations to Design and Product Development teams.

Monitor and update quality inspections and audit standards as needed.

Process Management and Improvement:

Lead process improvements for Product Integrity & Compliance.

Update and maintain Little Sleepies testing protocols.

Manage the product inspection process, including scheduling and troubleshooting as needed.

Recommend and implement efforts to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of Little Sleepies inspection programs based on production timelines.

Testing and Inspection:

Working in partnership with our product development teams and vendors manage testing for raw materials development, prototypes, and TOP testing.

Support material development in conducting wear tests, analyzing samples, and providing feedback.

Advise on testing and inspection focus areas based on risk assessments and test results.

Confirm pre-production and top-of-production samples with Technical Design, Design, and Product Development before bulk production begins.

Collaborate with 3rd party laboratories to develop new test methods as required.

Manage third-party inspections and reports..

Training and Team Development:

Train internal teams on inspection standards and best practices.

Supervise and train PD, Production and partners to ensure effective quality control procedures are in place in factories and warehouses.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Tech Design, Design, Product Development, Sourcing, etc.) to establish style requirements and documentation.

Proactively address quality concerns or issues with Technical Design, Sourcing, Product Development and vendor teams.

Monitoring and Reporting:

Working with Customer Services, 3rd party partners ensure comprehensive reporting on all assigned categories/styles and communicate findings in a timely manner.

Maintain and deliver appropriate quality reporting to the business on overall quality KPIs

Track and maintain key calendar milestones.

Manage vendor base quality and ethical compliance, including the needs of our license partners.

Risk Management and Escalation:

Escalate quality issues, testing failures, and potential risks to the Chief Operating Officer or other Leadership as required.

Monitor production quality across all divisions and product categories.

Review product specs/requirements to ensure they are consistent and can be met during bulk production

What you’ll bring:

7+ years of experience in the Apparel, Accessories Industry.

Childrens and Sleepwear product experience strongly preferred.

Degree in technical, textile, supply chain, quality or related field preferred.

Knowledge in Textile Engineering and Lab Testing.

Experience with the US and appreciation of Global Testing and Industry standards.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders.

Understanding of the manufacturing process within the apparel industry.

Ability to prioritize, operate proactively, work as a team, and handle challenges.

Confident, articulate, goal-oriented, self-motivated, and hardworking

Strong data analysis skills.

Ability to present technical information to various audiences in an easily understood manner.

Capable of multi-tasking while working in a team environment to perform tasks cross-functionally.

Able to work from our Headquarters in Los Angeles, CA a minimum of 3 days/week

Actual base salary considers several factors including but not limited to job related knowledge, experience and budget. The anticipated base salary range for the position in Los Angeles is $90,000 - $120,000
