The Role:
As Director of Systems, you will play a crucial role in shaping Little Sleepies' Systems infrastructure for years to come. You will be responsible for the implementation of various new systems and will continuously look for improvements once those systems are implemented. Managing various different projects will be at the center of this role. To support the further growth of the business and provide an excellent service to all the different stakeholders, it will be your job to recruit extra heads within your team.
What you'll be doing:
Play a crucial part in the development and support of the various systems the business operates onResponsible for delivering the Systems roadmap managing internal and external resources, whilst maintaining and optimizing all systemsBe a key member of the team, and act as a subject matter expert for specific systems, work with the wider business to ensure smoothly daily operationsOversee the design and build of centralized technical/operational documentation, ensuring client stakeholders know how to operate systems and processes day-to-dayManage the Systems ManagersEnsure the team is adequately trained in order to support the businessDrive learning and growth while also supporting team developmentIdentify strengths and weaknesses within the team and utilize these efficiently, while coaching and developing weaker areas.Collaborate with the system managers and third party support teams to understand recurring problems and design, scope and develop fitting solutions for themWork closely with the Program Manager on all running projectsUnderstand and anticipate the need for change, diagnosing the underlying issues and building the case for change to leadershipLead the implementation of new tools, processes or features in the various systems the business operates on within its domain/subteamSupport senior stakeholders on direction and prioritizationExecute process improvements by mediating internal decisions and sharing best practicesSupport RFPs, negotiation and procurement of vendor and service providersWhat you'll bring:
Minimum 8 years experience in Tech, Systems or IT positions within ecommerce and experience in a DTC retail business leveraging Shopify, ERPs and 3PLExperience in managing an ERP system implementation projectsLeadership skills to guide direct reports, project teams and ensure project continuity and accountabilityStrong project management skills, including the ability to plan, execute, and monitor projects effectivelyProficiency in managing resources and budgets to ensure project successProblem-solving abilities to identify and address any project-related challengesLead delivery of Systems roadmap and play a key role in prioritizing future changesExperience in managing integration platform implementation projectsFamiliarity with PIM (Product Information Management) and PLM (Product Lifecycle Management)A clear and detailed knowledge of the industry trends, best practices, and innovation ensuring Little Sleepies' maintains competitive advantageThe ability to drive ideation, problem solving and innovation happening within the Systems teamOwnership delivering various projects including but not limited to; system implementation projects, feature requests, product enhancementsNetsuite experience is a mustAble to come into our HQ in Hollywood a minimum of 3 days/weekWhat we're excited to offer you:

Actual base salary considers several factors including but not limited to job related knowledge, experience and budget. The anticipated base salary range for the position in Los Angeles is $150,000 - $175,000.
